Mercedes Trimble, BCBA

Mercedes earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Exceptional Student Education followed by a Master’s in Exceptional Student Education with a Graduate Certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders at the University of Central Florida where she was inducted into Delta Epsilon Iota, an academic honor society. Her professional career began in 2011, teaching students with emotional/behavioral disabilities.  Throughout her teaching career she has had the privilege of working with a diverse population of children with varying ages, needs and abilities. Her primary focus has been inclusive educational practices. She was awarded the Council for Exceptional Children Outstanding Educator Award for developing an innovative inclusive setting at her campus. The need for socially significant behavior modification for children to access appropriate environments and services motivated Mercedes to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Behavior Analysis from the University of Cincinnati followed by her BCBA certification. Mercedes is passionate about teaching functional communication and functionally appropriate replacement behaviors to reduce maladaptive behaviors, generalizing skills across environments, and collaborating with families and other service providers. In her free time, Mercedes enjoys exploring new places and spending time outdoors with her husband and two children.

Meghan Ambrose, NASP

Meghan received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a Master’s degree in School Psychology from National University in San Diego, California. She is a Licensed School Psychologist in the State of Florida through Florida Department of Health and also holds a School Psychologist Professional Educator Certificate with Florida Department of Education. Additionally, Meghan is certified in California and New York as a School Psychologist. Prior to coming to Mandala Family Wellness, Meghan culminated over ten years of experience working in school districts delivering comprehensive psychological services including assessment and evaluation, prevention, and intervention to a wide range of exceptional children and their families. Meghan currently provides advanced psychological assessment including administration, interpretation, and report writing for tests of intelligence, memory, personality, behavior, achievement, learning disabilities, and gifted abilities. Outside of work, Meghan enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling, running, painting, and enjoying the sunshine and the beach.

Ali Naturale, BCBA – Clinical Specialist

Ali Naturale received her bachelor’s from University of North Florida in Psychology with a concentration of Child Psychology. After obtaining her bachelor’s she moved to California for more experience with children with developmental delays. In California, Ali found a passion for Applied Behavior Analysis and started her journey to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She received her master’s degree from Purdue Global University in Psychology with a concentration of Applied Behavior Analysis. After receiving her master’s, Ali obtained her BCBA certification. Ali moved back to Florida to be closer to family. Since then, she has been working as an Analyst with individuals ranging from two years old to adults. Ali specializes in functional communication, parent training, training individuals becoming BCBAs, and functionally equivalent replacement behaviors. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, fiancé, and dog by going to the beach and having fun in the sun!

Anna Poggi, MA, BCBA

Anna was introduced to the field of ABA working as a registered behavior technician after receiving her Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 2016. Shortly after moving to Florida from New Jersey in 2019 she enrolled in the graduate program at University of West Florida and obtained her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and throughout her career she has had the privilege of working with a diverse population of clients with varying needs and abilities. Anna is passionate about teaching appropriate replacement behaviors to reduce maladaptive behaviors, functional communication, and early intervention. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her fiancé and their dog, and having fun at the beach.

Clara Mangin, M.S., BCaBA – Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Clara received both her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a concentration in Child & Adolescent Development, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida. Clara completed her Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst from the Florida Institute of Technology and is now pursuing a second Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis to complete her BCBA. Her professional experience began as an Assistant Program Director in the Early Head Start program providing training to teachers as well as intervention to low income families. Clara has a passion for working with families to increase behavioral, cognitive, and other developmental successes through a combined mental health and behavioral approach.

Vicky Holland, M.S., BCBA – Training & Development Coordinator

Vicky received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Clinical Psychology and Criminology from Florida State University, where she was inducted into Alpha Phi Sigma, an academic honor society. Vicky obtained her Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Abnormal Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is a qualified supervisor for BACB candidates. Vicky began working with individuals with special needs and phobias through swim lessons. Her professional experience includes coaching physical fitness in low-income elementary and middle schools, teaching swim lessons to all ages, and providing behavioral therapy services for pediatric clients. Vicky’s specialties in the field of ABA include: early intervention, parent training, teaching skill acquisition of replacement behaviors, and maladaptive behavior reduction. Vicky currently provides ABA services in the clinic, home, community, and school settings to children and their families. In her free time, Vicky loves spending time with her husband, their puppy and her family, traveling, going to the beach, and outdoor activities.

Stephen Capista, M.S. – Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Steve received his Bachelor’s in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University in South Florida. Previously, Steve worked for the Oakland Unified School District as an Intervention Specialist, where he helped develop programs aimed at mitigating the effects of poverty, violence, and other trauma for families and school-aged children. He also worked at Wediko Children’s Services, as a Lead Staff for groups of adolescents learning to cope with mental health diagnoses. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Mandala, Steve helps children and families navigate emotional and behavioral challenges, develop confident parenting, and improve overall family function. He also works with adults, utilizing techniques and strategies grounded in developing healthy relationships, empowerment, and the cultivation of positive self-image.

Abby Premo, RBT – Program Specialist, Psychometrician, Certified TimberNook Instructor

Abby is in progress for an Associates degree in Early Childhood Management through FSCJ and is passionate about furthering her education in both Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis. Her first experience in ABA was with behavior management, she has since enjoyed growing, learning and developing in the field to become a well rounded therapist. Abby is passionate about early intervention and the positive lasting effects it can have for children and their families combined. Finding common interests to connect and pair with clients is one of Abby’s favorite things about her job. Outside of work she enjoys staying active and going on all types of adventures with friends including going to theme parks, finding new places to eat or you may even see her jumping out of the sky.

Patricia Daniel, MD – Board-Certified Psychiatrist

Dr. Daniel received a bachelor’s degree from Henderson State University and doctoral and medical degrees at the University of Kansas. She completed her residency at the University of Utah in a specialized combined program of pediatrics, general psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry, where she was a recipient of the AACAP Educational Outstanding Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Resident Award. She is board certified in both pediatrics and child/adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Daniel is a professional affiliate of the American Academy of Pediatrics (Section on Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics) and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.  She has conducted extensive research and participated in numerous publications over a wide array of subjects, but her passion lies in treating the whole child. Additionally, she has extensive experience working and volunteering internationally. In her spare time, Dr. Daniel enjoys spending time with her family, and anything outdoors.
