Occupational Therapy services at Mandala Family Wellness provide fine motor skill evaluation and treatment for children up to 18 in Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Our Occupational Therapy (OT) Department uses purposeful activities to enhance and facilitate skill development to participate in meaningful activities. Occupational therapy addresses the underlying skills needed to effectively complete meaningful tasks to maximize functional and academic achievement up to age 18 including early intervention. Occupational therapy provides evaluation and treatment to improve children’s fine motor skills, activities of daily living (including eating, dressing, hygiene, toileting and play activities), oral motor skills and adaptive seating needs. Occupational therapy focuses on helping children achieve independence in all areas of their lives. When skill and strength cannot be developed or improved, the occupational therapist offers creative modifications and/or adaptations for carrying out meaningful tasks. All OTs at Mandala Family Wellness are licensed in the State of Florida and board certified by National Board Certification of Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
