Social Superstars Camp Series

Participants will dive into practical activities like budgeting during a behind-the-scenes bank tour, mastering communication skills with fun role-playing scenarios, and whipping up healthy meal plans while learning about personal fitness and hygiene. They’ll also explore their creative side through art, music, dance, and even woodworking projects. Imagine designing a garden during Horticulture week or practicing restaurant etiquette with friends at a fancy lunch outing!

This week, campers will become Safety Superheroes as they explore the world of public safety! They’ll learn about safety signs, practice crossing the street, and discover how to care for their personal belongings. Visits to police and fire stations will give them a behind-the-scenes look at how first responders keep us safe. Plus, we’ll touch on internet safety and stranger danger in a fun and interactive way!

Week 2: Animal Allies

Dates: June 2-6

Calling all animal lovers! Campers will dive into the world of Animal Allies with visits to the humane society and animal rescues. They’ll learn about caring for animals, see what it takes to work with pets at places like PetSmart, and experience the wonders of the zoo and farm life. It’s a paw-some week of fun and learning!

Week 3: Money Masters

Dates: June 9-13

Campers will become Money Masters this week! They’ll tour a bank to learn about ATMs, coin-counting machines, safe deposit boxes, and more. Through hands-on activities, they’ll practice budgeting and money management skills in a way that’s engaging and empowering. By the end of the week, they’ll be financial pros in the making!

Week 4: Healthy Habits Heroes

Dates: June 16-20

This week is all about building healthy habits! Campers will learn about meal planning, exercise, and hygiene through fun and interactive activities. Lessons from doctors, dentists, dietitians, and personal trainers will help them discover the importance of staying healthy and strong. It’s a week of hands-on learning and personal growth!

Week 5: Confident Communicators

Dates: June 23-27

Campers will shine as Confident Communicators this week! They’ll practice emailing, making phone calls, asking questions in stores, and building conversation skills. A special outing to a fancy restaurant will include manners training and a chance to put their new skills to the test. It’s a week of building confidence and connection!

Week 6: Green Thumbs in Action

Dates: June 30-July 3

This week, campers will get their hands dirty as they become Green Thumbs in Action! They’ll visit farms and nurseries, take on exciting garden projects, and learn about the world of horticulture and agriculture. Whether planting, watering, or harvesting, they’ll gain a deeper appreciation for the environment and the joy of growing things.

Week 7: Creative Explorers

Dates: July 7-11

Campers will unleash their inner artists during Creative Explorers week! They’ll try their hand at music, dance, acting, pottery, woodworking, sewing, and more. Visits to local art studios and museums, like the Cummer Museum and Gardens, and visits form local artists will inspire their imaginations. By the end of the week, they’ll have plenty of masterpieces to take home!

Week 8: Biz Kidz

Dates: July 14-18 

This week, campers will discover how to turn their passions into careers during Biz Kidz week! They’ll visit local vendor fairs, explore small business ideas, and learn the basics of business planning. From brainstorming to dreaming big, this week will inspire young entrepreneurs to see their potential and think like future business owners.

Week 9: Workplace Ready

Dates: July 21-25

The final week is all about becoming Workplace Ready! Campers will build resumes, practice job interviews, and meet with vocational rehabilitation professionals. Through engaging workshops and real-world activities, they’ll develop skills to prepare for future opportunities. It’s the perfect way to wrap up an amazing summer!

College Prep Week: A Launchpad to Success

Helping High School Graduates Transition with Confidence!

College Prep Week is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for young men and women aged 17-18 to get ready for their exciting new chapter: college life. This program is carefully crafted to prepare high school graduates for the challenges and opportunities ahead, focusing on independence, resilience, and practical life skills—all delivered in an engaging and supportive environment. From group therapy sessions and personalized coaching to interactive workshops, team-building activities, and guest speakers, participants will leave with the tools, strategies, and confidence needed to thrive in college and beyond.

Week Overview

Day 1: Laying the Foundation

The week kicks off with an energetic introduction to the group, where participants begin building bonds through team-building challenges and identity expression activities. The focus is on social and emotional wellbeing, with a fun and interactive workshop on stress management and mental health. They’ll also dive into a hands-on session about forming and maintaining healthy relationships, which includes engaging role-play scenarios and insightful discussions. By the end of the day, campers will leave feeling connected, motivated, and supported as they start this journey together.

Day 2: Academic Preparedness

Day 2 is all about mastering the skills needed to excel academically. Bike Buddies summer camp is here to make this milestone an exciting and rewarding experience for both you and your child. Whether they’re hesitant or resistant, our fun, game-based curriculum and small group instruction will have your child pedaling safely, confidently, and independently in no time. Each day builds on essential skills like balancing, steering, and stopping safely, all while fostering patience and resilience. The grand finale? A colorful pedal parade where campers proudly showcase their new skills for parents! This camp turns frustration into fun and teaches life-long biking confidence.

Time: Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and all campers need to bring lunch, two snacks, and water bottle each day.

Cost: $500 (plus $75 application fee) per camper and includes daily group therapy and all activities.

Children ages 7-12 who struggle with anxiety, worry, fear, and/or avoidance are welcome to join this one-week camp. Campers will start each day with group therapy to process anxiety, connect with others, practice social skills, and set goals. Afternoons will include activities to foster personal growth, increase independence, work through worry, and combat avoidance. This camp is led by mental health therapists and registered behavioral technicians who can support your child in facing his or her fears. Activities include animal encounters, art, sports, games, teambuilding, acting, and much more.

  • This camp is designed for children ages 7-12 who demonstrate symptoms associated with anxiety or social phobia.
    • Eligible campers must comply with camp rules and children who exhibit disruptive behavior, have active symptoms of oppositional defiant disorder, have active symptoms of an eating disorder, are at risk of harm to themselves or others and/or a flight risk might not be eligible.
    • During the screening process, we will ask questions about your child’s symptoms to determine if he/she is a good fit for camp. A formal diagnosis of an anxiety disorder is not required.

End of School, Start of Summer Horse Camp. Celebrate the end of the school year and the start of summer with Hoofbeats & Sunshine Horse Camp! This fun-filled, two-day camp is the perfect way to kick off summer break by combining the joy of horses, outdoor adventure, and all the excitement of a fresh season.

Outdoor Riding Lesson: Start the day with an outdoor riding lesson in the beautiful, open air of our riding ring. Campers will practice their riding skills, learn about summer safety for both themselves and their horses, and enjoy the fresh breeze as they work on their technique with the guidance of experienced instructors.

Summer Grooming & Cooling Down: As the temperature rises, campers will learn the best ways to groom and cool down their horses after rides, using refreshing techniques to keep their four-legged friends happy and comfortable in the summer heat.

Pony Splash & Water Games: Cool off with a splash in the water as campers participate in fun water games, like a pony water relay or a water balloon toss! These games are a perfect way to embrace the warm weather and get a little wet while having a blast.
